Many people are looking for ways to save money, and some are doing it with the help of coupons. Now a web site started by a University of Arkansas graduate makes clipping coupons more convenient.
Not so much clipping coupons — as texting them. On the site CollegeTokens.com people enter in their phone information and where they want to receive coupons from in Northwest Arkansas, and they are texted to them. Participating businesses just look at the text and give a discount.
“Now this just makes it more accessible and convenient for users to save money while dining out or shopping,” said the site’s Co-Creator, Kelvin Stroud.
There are more than 50 businesses in Northwest Arkansas participating right now – and standard text messaging fees do apply.
